Free Menstrual Cycle Tracking Template

I took a hiatus from working on Datable for awhile for a number of personal reasons, but came back to building products recently with a renewed inspiration to create usable products to help people live more organized and less chaotic lives amid all the political turmoil that is happening.
I feel angry about a lot of things. I feel afraid. Sometimes I feel powerless. But watching the below video inspired me to at least do some of the things that are in my power to do. And for me, that is to help people manage their data and information!
After spending a lot of time doomscrolling since January 20 (I know, not good), I can't tell you how many comments I saw on Instagram, Threads or Facebook about deleting menstrual cycle tracking apps, deleting data from Garmin, Google Fit or Apple. However, people felt like there was no alternative to using these kinds of apps to gain insights over their menstrual cycles while keeping their information offline and private, on their own devices.
What if someone could build an Excel file that allowed people to do just that? So I did! You can download Datable's FREE Menstrual Cycle Tracking template HERE. This product is not for sale and never will be. It's $FREE forever.
The file is titled, "Monthly Data Tracker". Boring. Vague. Generic. For once, let's embrace a horribly titled file lacking any helpful detail and information. You can keep the file on your desktop computer, save on a mobile phone, tablet or in the cloud, although be careful as to who has access to any shared cloud accounts.
The period tracker uses data from your most recent cycles and predicts your next several period dates as well as fertility dates. The calculations used in this file were based on scientific ovulation calculations from Johns Hopkins Medicine and simply puts that information into a useful file format.
Please share this file with anyone you think would find it helpful. It will always be free, and your contact information will never be shared with anyone. You do need a valid email address to download the file (it will be sent to you via email) but if you want to provide a fake name, you do you!
In the meantime, if you're feeling overwhelmed, scared, not sure what to do, I highly recommend watching this video (below) from AOC. It's 90 minutes long and worth watching every minute. The TLDR version is that yes things seem horrible right now, but there are still things we can all do, and most importantly, we need to take care of ourselves right now.
For me, one of the things I'm doing is building files like this one to help people feel control over their most private of information, and with your help, distributing it far and wide to everyone and anyone who would find it beneficial.
Lots of hugs,
Amelia
